The town of Samej was nearly completely destroyed by a catastrophic cloudburst that occurred in Himachal cloudburst. An old resident of Samej town named Bakhshi Smash revealed his horrifying involvement. “Around 14 to 15 members of my family were declared missing during the surge. I’m searching for my loved ones right now, hoping that someone is still alive,” he remarked, tears streaming down his cheeks.

The state is under a yellow alert from the Indian Meteorological Division (IMD), which warns of expected heavy precipitation over the next 72 hours.
