Holiyaan: Vedaa’s new track features strenuous performance by Sharvari Wagh

John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer Vedaa is an upcoming film which is all set to hit theaters this independence day. The action film also stars Paatal Lok fame Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia. Vedaa is directed by Nikkhil Advani, written by Aseem Arora while produced by Zee Studios, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and John Abraham.

The film released its first track Holiyaan on YouTube featuring a high energy dance performance of Sharvari. Holiyaan is a rendition of popular holi song ‘Holiya me ude re gulaal’. Actress Sharvari Wagh unleashed the vibrant colors of holi in the track. Holiyaan features a rap which adds a new twist and enhances the track’s appeal. John Abraham also made an appearance within the track with his rugged look. The track can be added to the holi playlist as it evokes joy, colors and spirit of holi.

The singers of the track are Nikhita Gandhi & Asha Sapera while Yüva composed the track. Holiyaan also features rap by Abhishek Bensla popularly known as MC Square who gained popularity as a participant in the MTV Hustle 2.0.

The Cast

The film stars John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh as lead. John Abraham portrays Abhimanyu Kanwar, a former Major who becomes a mentor and key ally to Vedaa while Sharvari Wagh portrays Vedaa, the protagonist who stands up against oppression. The action-thriller features Abhishek Banerjee as a negative character.

Zee studios unveiled the trailer of the Vedaa on August 1. The upcoming film is based on caste discrimination and untouchability. The action-thriller revolves around the journey of Vedaa who stands against the repressive and unjust system. Abhimanyu Kanwar, an ex- Army officer, supports and protects Vedaa in her quest for justice. The trailer starts with a recitation of Bhagwad Geeta’s shloka. It is packed with explosive action scenes, including hand-to-hand combat, chase sequences, and dramatic stunts. The trailer highlights themes of courage and personal sacrifice as the protagonist fights against overwhelming odds.

Alongside the action, there are emotional undertones that suggest personal stakes for the protagonist, possibly involving family or close relationships. There are strong elements of seeking justice and retribution against those who have wronged or oppressed others. The central conflict involves the protagonist, played by John Abraham, taking on a powerful adversary or corrupt system. This adversary threatens peace and justice, leading to a series of high-octane confrontations and morally challenging situations.The overall tone of the trailer is intense and gritty, aligning with the action-thriller genre.

Earlier, Sharvari Wagh was seen in Jaideep Ahlawat and Junaid Khan starrer Maharaj, a historical drama film based on the infamous Maharaj Libel Case of 1862.
