A disgrace for Rajasthan again ?
A 24 year old woman in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar was found burnt at a cremation place.
As the incident unfolds, it is found that the woman married against her family’s wishes. To escape the rage of her family, she fled away from Jalandhar with her husband.To afford protection for their lives , they kept on swapping locations and even adapted with this system. This infuriated her family to a greater extent.

Women abducted by her family !
Her husband Ravi Bheel claimed that she was abducted by her family in front of him .He was informed about the severe burn injuries on her body which were traced when he rushed to the local enforcement department to report this incident.
Another case of honor killing, family kills their daughter for going against them.
This brought us to the conclusion of this case , where the woman was said to be abducted and burned by her own family . By the time her husband arrived at the location with the help, she was left alone to suffer and die by her family. Unfortunately their arrival was delayed enough that more than 80% of her body had succumbed to the burns .To unravel the conundrum further investigation is conducted.

Honor killings are a form of violence against a relative who is perceived to have brought dishonor upon the family. Despite efforts to curb this practice through legislation and awareness campaigns, honor killings continue to be reported in various parts of India, highlighting deep-seated cultural and societal issues.

Indian films about Honour killing.
Indian films have portrayed societal problems on the big screen several times. ‘Honor killing’ has dominated other genres of films.
In 2016, a Marathi movie was released named Sairat. It was directed by the famous director Nagaraj Manjule. The film showcased the life of two lovers who fell victim to honor killing. This movie was a huge hit which proved how this subject is still relevant in many parts of India and till date haunts every individual.
