The Smart manufacturer – Honor is ready to unveil the brand new Honor Play 8T tomorrow, the launch event will take place in China. The new smartphone is arriving with new features and design. Honor is being consistent with the new releases and following a definite pattern, with the newly unveiled Honor Play 8T, Honor play 50 Plus will also release with a distinct design but quite same features and hardwares.
Honor Play 8T
Following the previous Honor Play 7T and Honor Play 40 Plus, the tech company is launching the new Play 8T model. The new smartphone is designed to gather the attention of mobile enthusiasts with its impressive new features and the powerhouse hardware. According to the rumored specifications, the smartphone can work smoothly while playing games and can perform or function multiple apps quite efficiently.
However as said before, the tech brand will follow the same pattern of releasing another model along with the new smartphone with a different name and design but almost same features. The new Honor Play 8T will be packed with amazing features and powerful hardware.
Honor Play 8T – Rumored Key Specs
Camera – The Honor Play 8T has been equipped with a 50 MP and 2 MP Duo rear camera for super quality images and the front camera resides behind the punch hole design which attracts and grabs the attention of photophiles and selfie lovers.
Display – The smartphone is expected to have a 6.8 inch LCD FHD+ 90 Hz display with 850 nits brightness.
Processor – The smartphone will be processed by a Dimensity 6020 chipset which is good for gaming and multitasking and capable of achieving a speed of 2.2 GHz.
RAM & ROM – Honor Play 8T will come with a variant of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB Internal storage.
Battery and Charging – The new Honor smartphone will be powered by a long lasting 6000 mAh battery, designed to be used for long hours without the need of frequent charging. The charging capacity will be 35W, which will restore the battery really fast.
Android – The smartphone will operate on android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 for enhanced interface and better user experience.
Price – The price is expected to be similar to Honor Play 50 Plus, around $ 200. However, the actual price will be revealed in the launch event held in China.
Honor Smartphones In Indian Market
Honor is among the top five smartphone manufacturers in China, its manufacturing operations were in India too until in November 2020, Honors parent company sold the smartphone brand to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology, which is a government controlled firm. After this the company withdrew its operation in India and transferred their employees to Dubai. However, the company never fully ceased its operation. The last Honor smartphones were released in India in July 2020.
Three years later, Honor made a comeback in India after a very long period. In September 2023, Honor announced a new model “Honor 90”. Honor 90 is available in two variants – 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM priced at Rs. 31,999 and 12 GB RAM and 512 GB ROM priced at Rs. 33,999.
The tech company is planning to set up manufacturing units in the coming year with a local partner which will be responsible for marketing, sales, distribution and after sales-service for the products.
