On March 18, 2024, Indian cricket fans experienced a happy and poignant moment as the daring wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant made his triumphant comeback to the field following a terrifying vehicle accident in December 2022. His promising career was in danger of being derailed by the accident that left his car mangled and on fire. However, as a monument to his fortitude and perseverance, Pant overcame severe injuries to stage an incredible return in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The cricketing community was shocked when they heard of Pant’s accident. His car struck a divider and caught fire while he was traveling from Delhi back home. Luckily, he was rescued from the debris bystanders before it caught fire.
