IND vs SA 3rd T20I: India beats South Africa by 106 runs. Kuldeep Yadav takes 5 wickets and helps India to stop South Africa at 95 runs in a 202-run chase. Suryakumar Yadav’s exceptional batting performance along with Yashasvi’s impressive inning helped India to set a high score on the board for the opponents.

IND vs SA 3rd T20I

The third match of IND vs SA T20I was played at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on December 14, Thursday. Aiden Makram won the toss and  South Africa chose to field first. Indian openers were all set to give their best after getting ducks out in the last match of the series. Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal showed an attacking approach towards the bowlers of South Africa. With 2 boundaries in 6 balls, Shubman Gill got out at 8 runs in the third over under Keshav Maharaj’s over. At his return to the pavilion, Tilak Verma came to support the team at no.3 but got ducked out as the ball landed in the hand of Captain Aiden Makram.

Suryakumar Yadav hits a fierce 100

Suryakumar Yadav entered the game with his sublime batting skills and through his fearless approach scored 100 in just 56 balls with 8 sixes and 7 fours. With this, Suryakumar Yadav entered in the list of leading batsman to score 4 T20I centuries along with Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell. Suryakumar Yadav made this record in just 57 innings. Young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal once again proved his underlying batting power by scoring 60 runs in 41 balls with 9 boundaries. Rinku Singh got out after scoring 14 runs and Jitesh Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja got out at 4 runs each. India at the end of 20 overs made 201 runs with the fall of 7 wickets.

South African openers R. Hendricks and M. Breetzke could not perform well as M. Breetzke got out 4 runs in 1.3 overs with Mukesh Kumar opening account for the early wickets and R. Hendrick managed to score 8 runs and got run out by Mohammed Siraj. Captain Aiden Makram came after the first fall of the wicket at 4-1 and scored 25 runs in 14 balls but could not take his inning further as the ball landed in the hand of Yashasvi Jaiswal. By Makram on the other side, H. Klassen got caught out by Rinku Singh in Arshdeep Singh’s over.

After Aiden Makram, The batting order collapsed badly as the Indian left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav’s fireballs and magical spell made the players return to the pavilion one after the other. David Miller tried to support his team but could not help as wickets were falling from the other side of the pitch. Kuldeep Yadav on his birthday with three bolds and two LBW’S, made his first five-wicket haul in the T20I. With the wicket of David Miller in 13.5 overs, South Africa got all out. India won a decisive victory by 106 runs.

India vs South Africa ODI series begins from 17th December

The T20I series tied between India and South Africa as both teams won one match each. Suryakumar Yadav with his fierce batting and Captaincy became The Player of the Match. Captain Suryakumar Yadav with his Magnificient performance won The Player of the Series. India will further face South Africa in the upcoming ODI series led by KL Rahul beginning on 17th December in Johannesburg.
