The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the schedule for the Indian men’s cricket team’s international home season. Men in Blue will play a three-format series against Bangladesh, New Zealand and England. The season is scheduled to begin with a Test series featuring two matches against Bangladesh. Following this, a three-match T20I series will take place. The first Test will be held in Chennai on the 19th of September, while the second Test will be played in Kanpur starting on the 27th of September. The three T20Is will be held in Dharamshala, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
After the conclusion of the Bangladesh tour, India will then host New Zealand for a three-match Test series, starting on the 16th of October. The first Test match will be held in Bengaluru, followed by the next two games in Pune on the 24th of October and Mumbai on the 5th of November. As the New Year approaches, India will welcome England for an exhilarating white-ball showdown. This series will consist of five T20Is and three ODIs.

India’s upcoming tour of Zimbabwe
After T20 World Cup matches, Men in Blue is ready to play the T20 series against Zimbabwe, starting on July 5 and concluding on July 14. Indian team assigned to play five matches in the format at the Harare Sports Club, less than a week after the end of the T20 World Cup in the West Indies. The upcoming T20 series holds immense significance for the emerging players. It could potentially mark the inaugural challenge for the newly appointed head coach of the Indian cricket team, symbolising the commencement of a fresh chapter.

This T20I series between India and Zimbabwe will get a chance for young talents to show their skills. Abhishek Sharma, Riyan Parag, Mayank Yadav, Harshit Rana, Nitish Reddy, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Yash Dayal, and Sanju Samson have all gathered at the camp. A few of them will be selected to participate in the Zimbabwe T20Is. There is ongoing debate regarding the future participation of Rohit and Kohli in the T20I format following the conclusion of the current World Cup campaign in the Caribbean. The announcement of the India squad for the IND vs ZIM T20I series is anticipated to take place in the following week.
