Indian Cricket team to face off Nepal in a cheerful game of Asia Cup 2024

In the Women’s Asia Cup that is taking place in Sri Lanka. India is planning to maintain the winning streak. The captain of Indian women’s cricket team who have led many previous winning tournaments Harmanpreet Kaur is serving her role with Vice Captain Smriti Mandhana.

India v/s Nepal

A T20 playoff that will take place in Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Sri Lanka. This is Match 10 of the Tournament. The weather condition is favourable for match with no signs of rainfall and with an average temperature of 31 degrees it’ll be a nice warm weather.

Harman Preet Kaur is ready to face Nepal with her team. While the Nepalese team’s captain Indu Varma is also ready face the undefeated India in this Tournament. Nepal has won one match against UAE only in only 16.1 over with 6 wickets.

India’s Crucial Players

As the captain, Harmanpreet Kaur will be crucial to India’s success. She has led the team to victory in the previous Asia Cup edition in 2022 and will look to guide them to another title. Harmanpreet is an explosive batswoman who can single-handedly take the game away from the opposition.

Smriti Mandhana is one of the best openers in women’s cricket currently. Her ability to score quick runs at the top of the order sets the tone for India’s innings. Mandhana’s experience and skill will be vital against Nepal.

Deepti Sharma is an all-rounder who contributes significantly with both bat and ball. She is a handy off-spinner who can control the middle overs and also a reliable batswoman down the order. Sharma’s all-round abilities make her a key player for India.

Richa Ghosh is the first-choice wicket-keeper for India. Her glovework behind the stumps and hard-hitting batting in the middle order are major assets for the team. Ghosh’s ability to finish games with her power-hitting will be crucial in close matches.

These players, along with the rest of the talented squad, will look to outclass Nepal and continue India’s dominance in the Asia Cup. The match is expected to be a one-sided affair, but Nepal will aim to spring a surprise against the mighty Indians.

India v/s Pakistan

India gained its first 2 points dominating the points in the Asia Cup. Pakistani Women’s team scored 108 runs in 19.2 overs losing all of their wickets. Highest run score from the Pakistani squad was S. Ameen with 25 runs, she caught by Radha Yadav on the ball of Renuka Singh. Syeda Aroob Shah showed a good performance with taking wickets of Shaifali Verma and Smriti Mandhana.

The Indian Women’s’ Squad have shown an exceptional cricket by winning the match with 7 wickets and 35 balls left.

 Smirti Mandhana is the top scorer of the match with 45 runs (close to her half century), Shaifali Verma has also scored 40 runs in only 29 balls. From the bowling section Deepti Sharma performed really well with taking 3 wickets of the rival team and only 5.0 economy. Renuka Singh has the lowest economy of only 3.5 runs every over, she also took 2 wickets.

India v/s UAE

India earned 2 points and dominate the table of Group A. India put a huge score of 201 while losing 5 wickets. Highest scorer of the match is Harmanpreet Kaur with 66 runs. Another high score from the Indian Squad is Richa Ghosh who also showed impeccable talent in Wicket Keeping. Deepti Sharma was again the best bowler from the Indian Squad with 2 wickets and economy of only 5.8 runs per over. Tanuja Verma gave us the show with only 3.5 economy and one wicket.

UAE also tried to give a good fight Kavisha Egodage have scored 40 runs in 32 balls. The captain Esha Oza have scored 38 runs in 36 balls. Kavisha Edogade also performed well in bowling; she took 2 wickets with 9.0 economy.
