India wins 100 medals till October 7 at Asian games 2023 breaks it’s previous record of 70 medals in 2018

India again created history on october 4 and won 100 medals till Day 12 of the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou on Wednesday.
India is 4 th and the current tally is 100 which has now become the best ever medal tally than the previous best in jakarta in 2018 which was 70. All the winners have made every Indian proud.
Neeraj Chopra, in the men’s javelin and the men’s quartet in the 4x400m relay team, won gold at the Asian Games 2023. Bains also secured a second-place finish In the women’s 800m with a time of 2:03.75, while Sable added to his 3000m steeplechase gold by securing a silver medal in the 5000m.

The medal race continued in athletics as Harmilan Bains in women’s 800m, Avinash Sable in men’s 5000m.
Kishore Kumar Jena in the men’s javelin secured silver medals.
The Women’s 4x400m relay team finished behind Bahrain with 3:27.85.
Ojas Pravin Deotale and Jyothi Surekha Vennam beat South Korea in the archery mixed team compound and successfully secured first-place
Their medal was 71 st medal which helped India excel it’s Asian games medal record of 2018

Wrestler Sunil Kumar won a bronze in the 87kg Greco-Roman event.
Ram Baboo and Manju Rani also won bronze in the 35km mixed race walking event. The 100 th medal is bagged by Women’s Kabaddi team of India.

All the winners have shown their hardwork which have made them accomplished in achieving this milestone.
