A 26-year-old man was shot and murdered on Tuesday night by two hitmen posing as customers at the Burger King restaurant in Rajouri Garden, Delhi.

In the first scene of the movie, one of the two hitmen posing as diners shoots the victim, identified as Aman Joon from Jhajjar in Haryana. As two hitmen fired dozens of close-range rounds at the victim, customers and staff instantly scurried to flee in a desperate attempt to escape.
When it happened, Joon was seated next to a woman who the authorities now suspect may have been complicit in the homicidal plot.
The woman entered the restaurant and sat at a table, according to witnesses and police records, setting off a series of events. Joon arrived to join her shortly after. The woman went to the counter, took their order, then came back to the table with their meal.
A little time later, two men—one in a red t-shirt, the other in a white shirt—entered the restaurant. They ordered at the counter and seated at a table behind Joon and the woman. Instead of taking a seat, the two males abruptly turned and began shooting at Joon.
On Wednesday, Vichitra Veer, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), announced that an inquiry has been started and a complaint has been filed under Indian Penal Code section 302, which deals with murder penalties.
Detectives are investigating the murder as part of a gang feud after criminal Himanshu Bhau claimed credit for the crime on social media. They have identified three suspects, including the woman who was dining with the victim.
Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is allegedly wanted, claimed to be the author of a social media post in which he said that his comrades were responsible for the crime and that it was a reprisal for the murder of one of their associates. “Himanshu Bhau and my brother Naveen Bali acknowledge their roles in the murder that took place in Rajouri Garden today. Today is the day that the person responsible for the death of our brother Shakti Dad has been held accountable.
According to rumors, Joon is a part of the Ashok Pradhan gang, which has a grudge against Bhau’s organization.
