Ahead of the results of Lok Sabha election, is Uddhav Thackeray going to join BJP led NDA, Maharashtra’s MLA sparks major controversy with his statement.

Introduction

Ahead of the results of Lok Sabha, MLA Ravi Rana made a prediction on Uddhav Thackeray joining hands with BJP Government, as they are expected in power again, thrice in a row. He stated that withing 20 days of the swearing-in ceremony of BJP, the Shiv Sena leader will be in a lockstep with the government once again

Shiv Sena, the political party formed by Bal Thackeray with its base majorly in Maharashtra and BJP has a long standing history in politics, both the parties joined hands together and took forward the BJP lead NDA which was made as an anti- Indian National Congress coalition. One of the major connects of both the parties were their “Hindutva” ideology.

The Shiv Sena left the alliance with BJP in the year 2019 after leaving it temporarily in the year 2014, the major reason was said to a disagreement on CM post which led to the fall of the formers government in Maharashtra further which led to Eknath Shinde being the CM of the state. Later Shiv Sena made an alliance with the Indian National Congress.

In one of the recent public meets, PM Modi when asked stated that, he has always admired Bal Thackeray and that he can never forget the love that he received from him. He also said he will always stand by Uddhav Thackeray’s side if he needs him. Adding onto it he also stated that the windows for them joining in are always open and they are always welcomed in the party.

Reacting on to the statement given by Modi, Thackeray stated that, even if the windows are open, he wont join hands with BJP. Adding onto his remark he also stated that, Modi will not be in power this time. He also commented on who will be the successor of BJP and Modi after him and not only him even Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal commented on how Modi Ji should tell about the successors who will carry forward the activities of the party.

Maharashtra’s MLA, Ravi Rana made a major remark recently by stating that, Uddhav Thackeray will once again join hands with BJP. He supported his statement by the “windows are always opened” remark by Modi and stated Thackeray will use the window and join in again and he stands firm on his statement.

Furthermore, the Lok Sabha elections are to announce on 4th June, 2024 and ahead of it the leaders from the Bloc urged the election commission of India that the votes from the postal ballots and their results should be declared before the end result of the electronic voting machines. They also nudged that clear guidelines on the counting process of the votes shall be made and also effortlessly followed.
