Recent Developments in conflict

The recent developments in the conflict shows that Israel has vowed to crush the Hamas presence from Gaza city and mentions that it will not recapture the territory. However, this vow will pose a challenge to it because Hamas has had its deep rooted presence in Gaza since a very long time and has its own political implications and also armed wing there. Supplies of food, fuel and medicines have already been cut short in Gaza city and Gaza’s one and only power station was shut down due to lack or shortage of fuel.

The US allies and other Arab nations have signed a peace agreement to deal with Israel and issued a joint statement on Thursday calling for an immediate ceasefire in the area and to stop targeting the innocent civilians.
