Jr NTR wants to do straight Tamil film with his Favorite Director

Devara, the upcoming action-packed film starring Jr NTR, is all set to release on September 27, 2024.
The movie, directed by Koratala Siva, also features Saif Ali Khan plays a antagonist role in the film and
Janhvi Kapoor as a female lead in the film, marking their Telugu film debut.

NTR Leads Non-Stop Promotions

While ‘Devara’ is definitely one of the most-awaited films, a strong promotional strategy is required
to get huge openings across the nation. With the movie releasing on 27th September, the team is
promoting the film on a grand scale. While the songs have provided a decent platform for the film,
extensive promotions are needed to attract the audience in the Hindi belt.
The trailer was launched in Mumbai and Karan Johan interviewed NTR which created more buzz.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga with NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Koratala Siva is already out now.
Alia Bhatt too lent a helping hand to her ‘RRR’ co-star. With Janhvi being involved, the movie is
getting good support from Karan Johar and his encourage.

Devara in Chennai

The Devara team is currently in Chennai promoting their upcoming film. Jr NTR, the lead actor,
impressed everyone with his fluent Tamil speech at a recent event. He even expressed his love and
gratitude for Chennai, recalling how he trained in Kuchipudi dance in the city during his early days.
Janhvi Kapoor attended an event where she impressed fans with her fluent Tamil skills. She even
expressed her deep connection with Chennai, mentioning that the city holds special significance for
her because of her late mother, Sridevi, who had fond memories of the place.
NTR made a bold statement, calling Devara the most ambitious project of his career. This declaration
has surprised many, especially coming after his work in the globally acclaimed RRR. With the release
just days away, the question on everyone’s mind is whether Devara will live up to the
monumental hype.

Strong pillars of Devara

During his speech, NTR also thanked a few members of his film unit, who he described them as the
strongest pillars Of Devara. “My words of whatever Janhvi Kapoor has done and brought to this film
will not do justice, so I can’t wait for you all to witness her magic and phenomenal actor on silver
screen,” said NTR.

Jr NTR wants to work with Vetrimaaran

During the press meet, Jr NTR urged his favorite Tamil director, Vetrimaaran, to Collaborate with him on a straight Tamil film, which would later be dubbed in Telugu.
Jr NTR openly manifested his wish to do a straight Tamil film soon. The actor also named the director
he wants to work with. Jr NTR said, “I am going to ask my favorite director, Vetrimaaran sir, let us please do one straight Tamil film and we can dub it in Telugu.” The crowd erupted in joy at the actor’s
statement. It will indeed be a treat to watch, if the collaboration takes place between Vetrimaaran
and Jr NTR.
Filmmaker Vetrimaaran, who has so far collaborated with Dhanush on multiple occasions PSG, Pronto qualifies for Champions League Knockout. “We are still alive”, says PSG coach Luis Enrique., has
confirmed that he will join hands with Jr NTR for a yet-untitled upcoming project. He also said that he
won’t collaborate with Jr NTR for the star value but for the suitable content that would require him.

Director Vetrimaaran

Vetrimaaran made his directorial debut with Polladhavan (2007). His second feature film Aadukalam
(2011) won six National Film Awards. His 2016 directorial Visaranai was selected as India’s official
entry to the Academy Awards. His film Asuran (2019) received the National Film Award for Best
Feature Film in Tamil.

Current work of Vetrimaaran

Vetrimaaran is generally known for his low-budget films, but with films like Asuran, Vidhuthalai Part
1, Viduthalai Part 2 and now with Vaadivaasal, looks like he is scaling up his films.
Vertimaaran is currently working on “vaduthalai 2”, and the film has reached the final stage of
production.
