The internet is in uproar for weeks after the release of exclusive preview of documentary ‘Jungkook: I am still’ unveiling Jungkook’s music journey

Jungkook’s music was unveiled with the release of a preview on Tuesday 20 August, of his solo documentary “Jungkook: I am still”, sparking excitement and anticipation among fans.

The preview took the center stage following its release on Tuesday, unveiling an exclusive sneak peek of Jungkook’s highly anticipated documentary “Jungkook: I Am Still”. Premiering on September 18, the documentary marks a significant milestone in the singer’s musical career as his first solo feature film gears up to hit theaters globally in selective venues. The preview shared across BTS’ official social media handles and YouTube channel Bangtan TV has already captivated millions of fans worldwide.

The official preview reveals a rare and intimate look of Jungkook immersed into the creative process of making his debut solo album “Golden”. As the Golden Maknae (youngest member) of BTS, Jungkook alias JK always enjoyed the spotlight be it on stage or on-camera. However, I Am Still promises to reveal an unseen side of the singer that has largely remained unnoticed. The documentary showcases his galvanizing performances across the globe alongside the unseen behind-the-scenes highlighting the passion, dedication, hardwork and creativeness that goes into his work.

Clips of Jungkook working indefatigably in the studio, rehearsing choreography yet interacting with his team continuously to work on feedback are interspersed with his clips from solo concerts, offering a glimpse into the behind-the-stage life of a global superstar. The film also deals with his self reflections as an artist, idol and individual which allows fans to connect with their idol more deeply on a personal level.

Worldwide ticket sales are set to begin on 21 August at 9 am EDT/6am PDT whereas it is 4 September in Korea.

Currently Jungkook is serving his mandatory military service which is expected to be completed in July of next year. Recently, Kim Seokjin alias Jin of BTS has completed his service and made a grand return taking the spotlight with various shows, ongoing projects and expected music releases. The rest of the BTS members are still in service, expected to reunite in July 2025.
