The trailer for sci-fi film “Kalki 2898 AD” eventually unveiled on Monday, following the release of many posters, teasers and much-discussed delays. The post-apocalyptic film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is set in the year 2898 AD and appears to have been influenced by Hindu texts.
The film’s bleak future, when mankind is up against an oppressive entity, was depicted in the trailer. It depicts Deepika Padukone‘s unborn kid being protected by Amitabh Bachchan’s character. In the meantime, Prabhas is a bounty hunter while portraying Bhairava. It appears that Prabhas’s love interest is Disha Patani.
The villainous role that Kamal Haasan plays in the movie is another highlight. Everyone is curious about what will happen next after watching the trailer, which closes with a glimpse of Kamal Haasan’s demonic appearance and the words “Fret not, a new era is arriving”. It’s interesting to note that Brahmanandam, Shobhana, Rajendra Prasad, and Saswata Chatterjee are all included in the trailer.
You can see the movie’s trailer in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English, among other languages.
The science fiction drama “Kalki 2898 AD” looks amazing and promises to be a visual feast with state-of-the-art visual effects. The trailer, which was only posted yesterday, has already generated a great deal of enthusiasm among fans worldwide and a huge buzz on the internet.
There is another trailer that the producers have made, and it lasts for two minutes and thirty seconds, according to recent sources from 123Telugu. A week prior to the movie’s scheduled June 27th release, a new trailer is anticipated to be unveiled. It’s thought that the next video will have new footage and characters in addition to some amazing sequences from the previous teaser, however the team hasn’t confirmed this publicly yet.
In the meanwhile, “Kalki 2898 AD” director Nag Ashwin stated to Deadline in an interview that the movie “does not include any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus.” “Of course, there will be a bit of devotion and emotion if you tell it in the Indian context, but I feel any story can be dealt with subjectively without bringing a religious connotation,” he had stated.
An estimated $75 million was spent on making the movie, making it one of the expensive films in India. It was originally supposed to be out on May 9, but that date was later moved to June 27.

The icing on the cake is the choice to conceal the identity of #KamalHaasan’s persona. But the trailer didn’t quite click with me; it didn’t have the impact I was hoping for,” X user remarked.
Someone else posted a video of Bhairava wearing armor and commented, “Beast mode!”
Another person was amazed by Haasan’s remarkable metamorphosis and conveyed his unsettling new appearance as an aged, wizened, and eerie guy.

It was just a brief glimpse, but it was enough to identify the bump beneath her country attire. In a voiceover, she continues, “Ek jaan ke andar, dusre jaan.”
