In her statement, Pelosi said that she was “enthused” to back Harris’s efforts to lead the Democratic Party, a vote of confidence that could bolster Harris’.

“Proudly and eagerly, I am delighted to announce my full hearted support for Kamala Harris as she vies for president in the United States. This endorsement is derived from the respect I have for her as a leader and that she is the most-suited candidate for our nation’s destiny. A leader of consequence within the Democratic Party, I feel greatly privileged to back her campaign and join millions of Americans who are lining up behind her candidacy, stated Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi, an ardent champion of diversity and unity within the Democratic Party, stated the following: “In the Democratic Party, diversity is our strength and unity is our power. So let’s all unite together and charge ahead boldly against Donald Trump to defeat him completely once and for all so as to gleefully install Kamala Harris as our nation’s next President.” Pelosi thus called upon everyone to fight in order that we may have a brighter future with Vice President Harris.

Pelosi paid tribute to the outgoing president as she praised Biden by saying “President Joe Biden has been a true godsend for our country. I am humbled and grateful for the chance to have worked under him in this period of great history, where he showed his passion about greatness that America holds. As one of America’s most transformative leaders, President Biden will be remembered not just as a politician but also a dreamer who believed in America’s potential.”
