Suriya starrer Kanguva is an upcoming film helmed by Siva while produced by Studio Green and UV Creations. The action-drama is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 10 this year. Kanguva dropped its trailer on August 12 giving insights into the film.

The film marks “Soldier” star Bobby Deol and Disha Patani’s debut in tamil. The supporting cast of Kanguva includes Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghvendra and K.S. Ravikumar.
As per the reports, the project was initially announced in 2019 but got delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic and director Siva and Suriya’s other commitments. The project was reinitiated in August 2022 and finally wrapped up in January 2024. The shooting of Kanguva took place in Goa, Kodaikanal, Chennai, Rajahmundry and Kerala.
Suriya is among the well-known figures in the Tamil film industry who has consistently delivered both commercial hits and critically acclaimed performances, establishing himself as a versatile actor. The actor made his acting debut in 1997 with “Nerrukku Ner”. While the film didn’t create a significant impact, it marked the beginning of his cinematic journey.
