Kareena Kapoor, Bollywood’s most beautiful and talented actress married the Bollywood Prince Saif Ali Khan almost a decade ago. Saif Ali khan was earlier married to Bollywood icon Amrita Singh back then and later he went on to marry the queen of his heart, Kareena kapoor.
Recently in a candid interview ,Kareena Kapoor opened up on her marriage,her relationship with Saif Ali Khan and her mindset of living life on her own terms. She also spoke about parenthood and her relation with her kids Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Khan and mentioned that she always has given her mental health a special attention while dealing with all of this.
The couple was blessed with the birth of their first son Taimur in the year 2016 and the younger one Jeh was born in the year 2021.
Kareena Kapoor says nowadays people only marry to have kids
In the interview Kareena Kapoor mentioned that nowadays marriages are all about having kids. She said that now people just want to marry for having kids. Otherwise one can just stay with their partner the way she and said lived in together for almost 5 years before marrying each other. She said that the reason they got married after living in for 5 years was because they wanted to have kids.
Saif Ali Khan was earlier married to the talented actress Amrita Singh. However they split in the year 2004 and Saif Ali Khan found love in Kareena Kapoor and got married to her in the year 2012.
Saif and Amrita already had two kids out of marriage ,the elder one being Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Khan.
Kareena Kapoor’s views on Parenting
Kareena Kapoor says there is absolutely nothing right or wrong in parenting or parenthood. She says that it is best to let the child just be and treat them as individuals with their choices. She says she lets her kids just be and they both treat them as individuals and respect them for who they are.
She says the kids eventually will figure out things on their own and that she wants to live her life happily with them. She says if you are happy in front of them that is when they will flourish in their lives and be happy.
She says kids are extremely resilient and they have their own ways, their own space to explore things, understand them in different ways and perspectives and one should just let them be on their own in that very happy space instead of forcing them and pushing them into things that their parents want them to be in.
Kareena Kapoor’s latest projects
Kareena has the upcoming project titled ‘The Crew’ that has other star cast like Kriti sanon, Tabu and Diljit Dosanjh. She made her OTT debut with the Jaane Jaan that was a Japanese novel adaptation and that was directed by Sujoy Ghosh and recently she made her mark on the OTT with her release of The Buckingham Murders ,directed by Hansal Mehta. Kareena Kapoor had joined Hansal Mehta as a producer on board for The Buckingham Murders.
Meanwhile Saif Ali Khan has upcoming projects has Devara that has already been announced and is all set to make its mark and hit the theatres in the year 2024. The film is said to be an action drama that is based on a Telugu adaptation and is said to be directed by the very talented Koratal Shiva. It will also have Junior NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor in the main lead.
The Crew will be released in theatres in the month of March in 2024.
