The erstwhile Caribbean all-rounder will replace Gautam Gambhir, the one who dissolved the position, to initiate the task of head coach of the senior Indian cricket team. The declaration from the authorities happened soon after; subsequently, the erstwhile West Indies star announced retirement from all forms of cricket.

Bravo played for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League but he has a long association accompanying Knight Riders, playing for the authorities during the majority of his Caribbean Premier League (CPL) career. Bravo was processed as Chennai Super King’s bowling coach in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. During his famous career, Bravo has played 582 T20 matches, captured 631 wickets, and scored almost 7,000 runs.

The 40-year-old left a place for international cricket in 2021 but resumed playing league cricket.
