Madonna made an extravagant entrance at the Dolce & Gabbana, wearing a black veiled dress, paying homage to her legendary 1990s era. Everything came to a standstill as she made her arrival at the Milan Fashion Show week. Italian Beauty, as the show is named, was dedicated to Madonna’s 1990s theme of Blonde Ambition wardrobe, which was designed by Paul Gaultier.
Madonna is said to be a long term friend of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the designers, and their brand ambassador since the 90s. Her dress was black laced from the top to bottom, which was from the brand’s latest collection, along with a gold crown on top of her Chantilly lace veil making her look absolutely glamourous as she sat in the front row. She received a grand standing ovation upon her arrival making her presence even more impressionable.
The Era of Madonna Celebrated By Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana have at various instances made a collection that is solely dedicated to the iconic Madonna like the one in 2000 entitled, Gli Anni Ottanta, along with costumes from The Girlie Show tour in 1992.
Jason Hughes, creative director of the magazine Wallpaper, stated that Madonna has always cherished her Italian-American heritage even before her friendship with D&G and before her popstar journey. She was at the peak of her career during the Blonde Ambition era where her name was known everywhere in the world and made the news every day.

Models wore D&G’s signature corset, fitted jackets along with conical bras that represented the femininity of the collection that pays homage to the legendary female figure of Madonna.
Cropped jackets with pencil skirts, along with coats that accentuated the body, made a bold statement in the runaway. Floral prints made a comeback with a color scheme of nude, red, black and white and finished the look with oversized earrings and stunningly high heels.
