After Trisha called him out on his disparaging remarks about her, actor Mansoor Ali Khan of Ponniyin Selvan faced a barrage of criticism from other celebrities. Actor Chiranjeevi of Telugu recently supported Trisha and called Mansoor Ali Khan’s remarks “reprehensible.”
Mansoor Ali Khan is facing backlash from actor Chiranjeevi over recent comments he made about Trisha.
Previously, Trisha had vowed never to collaborate with Mansoor Ali Khan after hearing him disparage her during a press conference. During the conversation, Mansoor Ali Khan expressed his thoughts in Tamil, saying, “I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the movie when I heard that I was acting with Trisha.” I imagined that, as I had done with other actresses in my films, I would lead her into the bedroom. I have performed in a lot of rape scenes, so I am not new to it. Still, these guys did not show me Trisha on the sets when we were filming in Kashmir.

Chiranjeevi wrote on X, saying, “I heard that actor Mansoor Ali Khan said some obscene things about Trisha. Not just for artists, but for any woman or girl, the comments are disgusting and vile. We must vehemently denounce these remarks. I stand in solidarity with @trishtrashers and all other women who have to put up with hurtful remarks like these.”
“Thank you, Chiru sir,” Trisha wrote in response to the Bholaa Shankar actor’s letter. The director of Trisha’s Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj, also expressed disapproval of Mansoor in a tweet that was followed by Chiranjeevi. “The writer conveyed shock and outrage upon discovering Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan’s misogynistic statements, especially considering that we were teammates,” the writer wrote. In any industry, respect for women, other artists, and professionals ought to be given, and I strongly disagree with this behaviour.”
Mansoor’s remarks on social media drew criticism from Trisha, who wrote, “I recently watched a video where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan made offensive and disgusting remarks about me.” This is sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, disgusting, and in poor taste, and I strongly condemn it. For all his hopes, I am happy that I have never had to share a screen with someone as pitiful as him, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that I never do for the remainder of my film career. Individuals like him damage the image of humanity.”
In response to Trisha’s tweet, the National Commission for Women called for severe measures. The actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s derogatory remarks about actress Trisha Krishnan have us very concerned, according to a tweet from the National Commission for Women.
