Mehbooba Mufti who’s the Supremo of PDP (Jammu and Kashmir People’s democratic party) said that the crisis in Bangladesh should be a lesson for India that the youngsters of the country should not be forced to an extent and also dictatorship doesn’t last long.

Learning a lesson:

Mufti said this while speaking to the press in the context of Bangladesh. She said that when the youngsters are forced to face problems like unemployment and inflation, which ultimately leads to disappointment even after being educated, it can lead to a situation like that of Bangladesh.

She said that the government should learn lessons  that the dictatorship won’t last long and people would lose their patience when they get tired of anti-people policies and then they have to flee like Sheikh Hasina.

Mufti who’s the Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir made a comparison of Jammu and Kashmir with that of Bangladesh where youth are facing similar issues.

She said how the youngsters feel helpless like Bangladesh, they are facing oppression, being charged under UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) and the PSA (Public Security Act), so they should learn from it and address the issues which youth are facing.

Hope that situation doesn’t arise here:

The Supremo of the party also said that the crisis in Bangladesh was a stark reminder that people who are weak can also fight for their rights even as they are being crushed.
