Meta announced the launch of AI-powered Llama 3 also known as the advanced language model in India. From Monday onwards the users can use this feature to create content diving deep into the topics and can apply Meta AI in chats, feed, and gain more access to the apps as well as get things done. Two months ago the same feature was launched for the countries such as New Zealand, Canada, and Australia. Due to the Lok Sabha elections in India, the demand for rolling out this feature was less in India.

As per the reports of Statista, there are around 493.31 million users of WhatsApp in India. Additionally, the number of users by the end of 2025 is estimated to reach around 795.67 million.
What are the benefits of this new MetaAI feature in Social Media Apps ?
This new MetaAI feature is available across the searches of Messenger, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. Moreover, this AI feature also aids in gaining insights from the posts in the Facebook app with the help of this Meta AI.
It is also coming up with real-time search results from Google and Microsoft which means it can be used in Group chats to get real-time schematics on things such as planning trips for the least crowded destination.
Similar to other AI assistants it is also able to perform other efficient tasks such as creating poems, summarising texts, writing emails, and creating poems. Furthermore, translating texts into different languages creates GIFs, Chat windows, and images.
The most interesting thing is that users are now able to access the AI features just from WhatsApp and Facebook and do not require access to other apps such as Gemini or Chat GPT to get help from AI.
The Meta AI will be rolled out in English for now according to the company the users are going to benefit from the AI tools as it is faster and full of fun compared to earlier, additionally, it is integrated with the features of Llama 3.
How users can access this feature from today?
To access these features users are required to update their apps to the latest versions of these apps. The AI feature of Llama is integrated on each of these platforms uniquely.
For example, in WhatsApp users can ask for recommendations for the specific plan and task for their upcoming road trip.
On the web, Meta AI will act as an assistant by giving ideas on how to decorate your new home and also creating multiple choice tests.
On Facebook it is going to be available in the feed and allow users to ask for feed, asking questions and asking specific posts or more insights. In Meta AI it is also able to generate WhatsApp stickers, generate images, and enhancing an already created image.
