Michelle Yeoh announced the birth of her first grandchild and the post led to some confusion amongst the fans. The Oscar winner has become a grandma for the first time, so when she posted a picture with a newborn on her Instagram, it left some of her fans confused and many other celebrities and various friends and family took to that post to congratulate the actress.
On the previous Tuesday, Yeoh took to her Instagram to share a post with the world with a picture of a newborn baby’s leg on her hand and captioned the post with “A little miracle on the first day of 20204 ❤️ we are so blessed”, leaving some fans in a state of confusion as to if this was an announcement for a grandchild or a new child itself. One fan commented, “Girlie can you explain, we’re confused”.
Where many of other celebrities and friends took to that post to congratulate the actress, supermodel Naomi Campbell commented and congratulated the actress by adding “Congratulations Michelle and Jean on your beautiful bundle of joy ❤️”, whereas actor Sharon Stone added her congratulations for the actress by commenting “I am so happy for you”
Seeing as to how this post left the fans in a confused frenzy Michelle Yeoh added another post to her Instagram a few hours later with sharing pictures of her and her husband Jean Todt, and the same picture from the earlier post with the newborn and captioning it “Thank you darling Nicholas and Marina for making us the happiest and proudest grandparents. Welcome to the world baby Maxime”. Clarifying that it was her stepson Nicholas Todt and his partner who had become new parents, making the actress and her husband- grandparents.
Michelle and her husband Jean Todt, a former Ferrari CEO, got married last July in Geneva, after being engaged for 19 years. The pair got engaged in 2004. The actor shared a slew of pictures from her big day and the pair’s wedding ceremony and captioned the picture “19 years and YES!!! We are married!! Thank you to our ‘families’ who love us for all these years. We love you so much and here’s to many more to come”. The pair met and began dating in 2004, and on July 26, they got engaged to each other and remained engaged for 19 years before tying the knot last year. Jean Todt was the general manager and CEO of Scuderia Ferrari and later the president of FIA. The actress now lives in Geneva Switzerland with her husband.
