Today’s Youth generation are mostly seen depressed and stressed often for No reasons .Research says that there are many reasons behind this Mental illness like Family and Environment , Life Situations , Styles of Thinking, Genes and Hormones. Nowadays Many people approach Psychiatrists to get rid of Mental Problems . Not all people are required to undergo counseling . A simple Self Understanding and healthy relationship with one’s self is more than enough to find Peace . To do so, The most Preferred and Effective way is MEDITATION.
Meditation is something where one has to sit still for minutes and try to calm one’s mind. In this Modern fast paced World , sitting still for even a five minutes is something Blood Sweat and tears. According to studies , On Average Only 200-500 million people of the world (i.e) around 2 – 6.25% of the total World’s Population do Meditation.

Eli Susman , UC Berkeley PhD candidate in clinical science in an Interview with The Los Angeles Times expressed her experience she had , when she went to a one-Month retreat to a Buddhist Monastery in France in 2017. There was a condition to do Meditation daily for 30 minutes . She faced two difficulties in doing this , one is to find the best time to do Meditation and the second one is to do it consistently which is a common problem for all.

In their study ,it was observed that a few subset of people who did meditation regularly have shown greater increase in Self-Compassion and reduction in Stress and Mental Problems .Instead of scrolling Phone and being a Couch Potato taking up this Wonderful Practice a HABIT would bring a tremendous change in One’s Life .
