Filmmaker Homi Adajania stated at the teaser display ceremony for his new criminal drama Murder Mubarak, which is scheduled to be on the streaming service on March 15, that Sara Ali Khan possesses “a lot of Saif Ali Khan’s humor.” Drawing similarities with the father-daughter team, Adajania—who had worked with Saif Ali Khan on his directing debut Being Cyrus (2006)—emphasized their keen humor and rapid intellect.
Saif Ali Khan is incredibly humorous and has a quick mind. I believe that we are essentially speaking the same language. At the event on Monday, the 52-year-old director remarked, “I noticed it was exactly the same with Sara Ali Khan. We lack the capacity to complete phrases, we get other people’s terrible weird dark sarcasm.”
