Akkineni Nagarjuna’s new movie Naa Sammi Ranga hits the theatres on this Sankranthi, Choreographer Vijay Binni also worked hard to make his first debut film blockbuster. As this film is a remake of Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose of 2019. This film completed its shooting in a record time which is less than 3 months. Along with Nagarjuna, Raj Tarun, Allari Naresh, Ashika Ranganath, Rukshar Dhillon, Mirnaa Menon, Nassar, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Varma and Madhusudan Rao also played an important role to enhance this film.

Plot of Naa Sammi Ranga:
This film started in the time of 1988, Ambajipeta village where Kistayya(Nagarjuna) and Anji(Naresh) share a strong friendship bond and brotherhood relationship from childhood. Anji’s mother passed away in his childhood while Kistayya was an orphan. Both of them are respectful and loyal to the village head President Peddayya who helps Kishtaiyah’s family in their crisis time. So Kistayya always obeyed his orders and never crossed his line. Kistayya loves Varalakshmi aka Varalu(Ashika Ranganath) who is the daughter of Varadaraajulu( Rao Ramesh) from his childhood days, but unfortunately an incident separates them.
When they two decided to get married, Varadaraajulu passed away suddenly and they separated. On the other hand President Peddayya’s third son Dasu (Shabeer Kallarakkal) enters the village and wants to kill Kistayya and Anji. When they fight to protect Bhaskar(Raj) because he falls in love with neighbour village girl Kumari (Rukshar) their life is in danger. Why does Dasu want to kill them? How did Varadarajulu die? What happened to Bhaskar? Will he meet with love? Will Kistayya and Varalakshmi reunite again? This movie gives you all the answers.

Naa Sammi Ranga Review:
The way this film promotes it doesn’t give you that kind of long term effect but it will surely entertain you while you watch this movie. Most of this film was plotted during Sankranti and Bhogi festivals. To create those scenes MM Keeravani’s sound score and music and Dasaradhi Sivendra’s amazing cinematography build those moments together. This film also portrays the Konaseema village’s rituals of prabhala theertham. Though the cast and director are surely unable to establish the value of these rituals and occasions.
Key Points of Naa Sammi Ranga:
Nagarjuna’s works in this film is very appreciative which again proves how well defined an actor he is. His dialogue delivery, on screen presence made all the audiences crazy again. His charming striking looks and expression is undoubtedly impressive. His responsibility as a brother and brother and his loyalty to Peddayya, touch the heart of the audiences.
Allari Naresh again proved himself as a true entertainer till the last scene especially in the second half. MM Keeravani’s sound score works the best to make every emotional scene more expressive and as all the Supporting character also worked very hard which shows in the film.
The character of Peddayya’s psychotic third son Dasu played by Shabeer Kallarakkal also attracted audiences towards him as his character is also a very important and villainous character of this film.
Ashika Ranganath steal the limelight:
The work of the whole cast is undoubtedly good, but Ashika Ranganath’s acting in this film surely grabs the attention of most audiences. Ashika Ranganath played the character of Varalakshmi aka Varalu. She does not even present in every scene, but in every scene as she comes, she successfully attracts audiences towards her.
The tragic incident of her father’s death and separation from his childhood lover Kistayya is the main plot of the story, from there the story takes another twist. Her character is not some dreamy girl character but a very simple and common character. It’s really delightful to see in an action packed movie, a female lead character is not waiting for a saviour, but fighting for her dignity and herself.

Flows of Naa Sammi Ranga:
Firstly Porinju Mariam Jose is not so perfect film and when Vijay decided to remake it in Telugu, he also made the same mistakes as the first one.
The storyline of this film compared to other Telugu films is quite weak and the screenplay which is also managed by Vijay Binni can be better and more effective.
Rukshar Dhillon, Shabeer and Raj Tarun’s can be more effective and impressive. However Prasanna Kumar’s involvement increases the story in the second half.
The bond between Kistayya and Anji can be more emotional and better in the first half as the second half was better than the first half.
Even the chemistry of Kumari and Bhaskar when they become more relevant their purpose of this film looks like catalysts. The chemistry between Manga, Anji’s wife and Anji doesn’t portray well enough to touch the audience’s heart and attract them however Naresh’s character help to make Anji’s character memorable.
Naa Sammi Ranga is work for Mass Masala:
As a debut of Vijay, this film might not work as a superhit but Nagarjuna’s huge fans will love this film and his and Ashika Ranganath’s love fashioned love story with some action and punching dialogues and love drama concept can engage the audiences. Overall it’s a decent movie that can be watched with family and friends.
