Tamil actress Nayanthara has been named one of the ‘most powerful in business’ by a leading business magazine. The actress’s name was featured along with three other women icons — Bollywood filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch, and Apollo Hospitals Joint MD Sangita Reddy. All four of them are also featured on the cover of the business magazine. Nayanthara took to her social media handle and shared the news with her fans. She also thanked her husband Vignesh Shivan for making her dream come true.

Apart from acting in films like Jawan, Chandramukhi, and Bigil, Nayanthara produces movies under her production banner called Rowdy Pictures which she owns with her husband Vignesh Shivan. The production house has released films like Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Connect, and Netrikann. The company reportedly has a net worth of Rs 50 crore. The production house commenced film production in 2021. She also ventured into cosmetics with her own beauty brand called 9Skin and The Lip Balm Company. She also started a sanitary pad company called Femi.
