Netflix’s popular teen drama , ‘Never Have I Ever’ has gained a lot of audience since its release. One of the cast members of the Season 3 of the show, Anirudh Pisharody, who played the role of ‘Des’, recently tied the knot with his longtime Chinese girlfriend, Jill V Dae in Italy.

Anirudh Pisharody, famous for his role as ‘Des” in Never Have I Ever, recently tied the knot with his college time girlfriend, Jill V Dae, in a classy and glorious ceremony held at Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano. The wedding ceremony took place in a medieval lakeside castle in Rome. As Anirudh has roots in India and his girlfriend is Chinese, the wedding rituals were a blend of both the cultures. The wedding started with the very famous Chinese tea ceremony and had Indian kalyanam , later it was followed by the Western ceremony.
The wedding was intimate and attended by close friends and family only. Jill, the bride wore a stunning Vera Wang gown while Anirudh was all dressed up in Dior attire and accessorised it with a Cartier Tank Must watch. Despite staying together for almost 9 years.During their wedding day, there were chances of rain but God blessed the couple with just normal good weather and the ceremony was carried with grace.
The love story of Anirudh Pisharody and Jill V Dae started when the couple met each other at their college’s grocery store’s parking lot in 2014. Later, Anirudh organised a Halloween party and both collided there too. After a few interactions, they created their bond over their common interest which is cinema and filmmaking. Soon after, sparks flew and they bonded over their common love for cinema and filmmaking. Anirudh Pisharody proposed to his girlfriend, Jill V. Dae in Italy in July 2019. The couple planned to get married in Rome. But due to the COVID Pandemic their marriage plans got delayed. And now, in November 2023, they got married as a happy couple.

While sharing the wedding day experience and feelings with Vogue, Jill shared that during the western ceremony the sky was cloudy and there were indications of rain. But as the couple exchanged rings and vows, there was a beam of sunlight directly through the clouds. Anirudh also shared his magical experience of a double rainbow over the lake.
