Korea fired Ballistic Missiles as Blinken visited Seoul.
The military of South Korea said that short-range missiles were fired from Pyongyang North’s capital south region, landing east of the Korean peninsula. The military of South Korea said it will share the information with Japan and the United States of America.
Japanese Prime Minister’s Reaction on the Situation
Japanese media reported about the launch of three short range missiles. Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has condemned the launches. The coast guard of Japan also noticed the firing of a ballistic missile and reported that it had already stopped and ended its fight .Later Japan said that later they had detected something that looked like a second ballistic missile launch by the North. Both these were not in its exclusive economic zone area.
‘Kishida called the launch violative of the United Nations resolution. He also said that North Korea’s action has disrupted the peace and security of his region and also of the International community, which is unacceptable. The South Korean military mobilized attack helicopters, marines for reinforcing western islands, which are near the sea border of North Korea. These islands were shelled in 2010 by North Korea.

The official media of Kim has been attacking and lashing out at South Korea and the USA. North Korean leader Kim Jong, said that the time for peaceful unification is finished and over now.
Before this launch, Kim Jong led military drills, the military drills included fire from an artillery unit , which could hit Seoul.
The USA and South Korea completed the Freedom Shield exercises on March 14,2024. Freedom Shield which included trying on the land, sea and in the air against the contingencies presented by North Korea.
North Korea said in the month of February that this year that he will have to annihilate South Korea. Kim Jong Un didn’t show any interest in interrupting or blocking nuclear disarmament talks; instead he has rolled out new weapons, which can be used during nuclear strikes on US and other allied nations.
This is making everyone speculate that Kim Jong Un and North Korea, is preparing for a war. Joe Biden, President of the United States,said that if they launch a nuclear strike, then Kim Jong should be prepared to see the end of his regime.
Besides this, a North Korean leader is said to be supplying weapons to Russia, for Russia to make use of these weapons against its war with Ukraine. The weapons and arms include ballistic missiles and artillery shells. Russia is playing a crucial role in supplying technology, and various commodities to North Korea which will eventually help North Korea to increase its military strength and expand its economy too.

Since 2022, North Korea has been carrying out several missile tests in the Korean Peninsula, which has increased the tension in the region. Several tests have been carried out to check the capability of the nuclear missiles to attack South Korea and the USA.
North Korean cruise missile activities are not prohibited under UN sanctions, however as per the experts, these weapons can cause major threats to Japan and South Korea. North Korea says that these weapons have nuclear capability and they have a range of 2,000 km. Thus, these weapons can easily target the US military bases in Japan.
