Life of J. Robert Oppenheimer –
Oppenheimer’s birth took place on 22 April 1904 in New York City. Julius Oppenheimer , Who was his father , was a textile Importer. His father Immigrated to the United States in 1888 , Then he had no money and didn’t even know English language but in just a decade he made himself successful.
Oppenheimer did his Bachelor degree in 1925 as Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He did Doctorate from Harvard University in 1927. He studied in Harvard University under ‘ Max Born ’. He Became a full Professor in 1936 at University of California in Physics department. He did so many Contribution in Theoretical Physics.
Oppenheimer also called as Father of ‘ Atom Bomb ’. He was Director of the Manhattan Project’s Los Almos Laboratory which was happening at the time of World War II.
Oppenheimer and Katherine “ Kitty ” Puening got married in 1940. Katherine “ Kitty ” Puening was a German American and a Botnatist and a Biologist ,. She was also a former member of the Communist Party of America. Oppenheimer died on 18 February 1967 , at the age of 62.
