Panchayat actor Pankaj Jha condemn Pankaj Tripathi and Anurag Kashyap for glamorizing struggle of taking hold of others role and lacking honesty in work affecting his career for missing out on roles because of this.

In a recent interview, actor Pankaj Jha expressed his remorse on losing out on notable roles affecting his career because of politics in the industry and lack of rectitude towards the work. He also pointed out on “glamourizing struggles” which comes after snatching roles from the people.

Pankaj Jha on lost role from Gangs of Wasseypur
Gangs of Wasseypur is a dark crime film which was released in the year 2012, it was directed by Anurag Kashyap. The story revolves around Dhanbad’s coal mafia and underlying power struggle, politics and avengement between three crime families. The movie was critically acclaimed, earning lots of nominations and wins. It is considered as one of the finest directional work by Kashyap.
Pankaj Jha is a famous Bollywood actor and director who is also and alumni from the National School Of Drama (NSD), Delhi. Some of his notable works are the web series Mirzapur and Panchayat.
Pankaj Jha in a his recent talk told that he was the first choice of the role Sultan Qureshi which was played by Pankaj Tripathi. He was offered the role by Kashyap and the latter asked him to meet, but at that time he was shooting in Patna so couldn’t attend the meeting so he told him he will meet him after 2-3 days after which Kashyap promised him the role but by the time he was back, Pankaj Tripathi was already casted in the movie, which later on proved to be a significant impact to his career.
Jha has worked with Anurag Kashyap in films like Gulaal and Black Friday. But the actor-director duo broke because Kashyap failed to keep his promise. Upon being asked if the politics in the industry bothers him, he said it doesn’t as he believes in moving forward and if he is sad and lets these industrial politics hurt him the people who “backstabbed’ him would win this which he doesn’t want.
He also stated that he is a “director-making actor” and said that films like Gulaal not only make actors but also the directors, these films help them in making big in the industry adding on to it he criticized people for lacking enough courage and being “spineless” who cannot even keep up to the promises made by them. Later on he also said that he has no complaints against Anurag and he very much loves him.

Pankaj Jha also commented on Pankaj Tripathi, stating how he glamourized his struggle by snatching roles from other people not only this, he also accused the actor for doing politics for getting the roles. He also mocked the actor for being a good actor to the audience by stealing someone’s slipper.
Reacting onto the statement given by Jha, Tripathi said he really likes Pankaj Jha for being a great performer and admires his work. He said that he has a funny personality, lightening the atmosphere everywhere he goes. He wished the actor all the best for his upcoming movies and shows.
