Sunil Tingres is a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which is led by Manish Pawar. He is the assembly constituency representative for Vadgaon Sheri in Pune.

Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, stated on Saturday that unfounded claims are being made against Pune MLA Sunil Tigre, connecting him to the Porsche accident that claimed the lives of two teenage computer enthusiasts.

Prior to the tragedy, the opposition claimed that Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar) MLA Tingres had stepped in to make sure the young suspect received favorable treatment from the police.

An MLA for the district where the incident happened is Sunil Tingre. The local MLA frequently visits the scene of such incidents. Was Sunil Tingre attempting to keep the issue quiet? When asked about Tingre’s name appearing in relation to the case, Pawar responded, “The allegations against him are baseless.”

The deputy chief minister responded, “I often call the commissioner of police over multiple issues but I haven’t made a single call to him in this case,” when asked if he had spoken with Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar following this occurrence.

The home department’s deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, according to Pawar, gave the Pune police instructions to conduct a thorough investigation the day following the collision. “Eknath Shinde, the chief minister, has also issued the appropriate directives. Those police officers who had originally postponed the process were disciplined. Police have also taken action against those from Sassoon General Hospital who were connected to the crime” , he continued.

Early on May 19, in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, two IT workers lost their lives when a Porsche driven by a child, who the police believe was intoxicated, crashed into their two-wheeler.

Regarding the Porsche issue, the boy has been placed in an observation home until June 5th, and his grandfather Surendra Agarwal and father Vishal Agarwal, a realtor, have been placed under custody for allegedly kidnapping the family’s driver and pressuring him to accept responsibility.

In an effort to prove that the youngster was sober when the tragedy occurred, police have also detained two physicians and a hospital employee from the Sassoon hospital.
