The movie story tells us about the India – Pakistan war of 1971 , for the independence of ‘ Bangladesh ’. The movie is titled after the Russian war tank PT -76. It is a war tank with a unique speciality that it can also flow on water , in other terms the tank can also fight on water and on ground also. It helped Indian army to win the battle of 1971.
This tank floats on water just like a empty bin this is why it is named as “ PIPPA ” . It is ‘ Punjabi ’ language word.

Pippa is a Russian war tank it’s other name is PT -76. This tank can float in water , so it can be use to fight even in water. It helped Indian army so much in the India – Pakistan war of 1971.
At the time of Partition of Bengal Pakistan decide to kill so many people in Bangladesh . Around 22000 people were killed in Bangladesh. On march 27 1971 Prime Minister of India ‘Indira Gandhi’ decided to fight Pakistan for the independence of East Pakistan.
This story also goes around ‘Balram Singh Mehta’ who fought in this war along with his two siblings. His brother also serve Indian army. His sister is a student of Delhi University and recruited by Indian spy agency to deliver the war messages. She also plays a important role in this war.
