PM Modi addresses National PM Vishwakarma Program celebrating artisan’s legacy in Wardha, Maharashtra

Inauguration of the PM-MITRA park by PM Modi:

On Friday, at Amravati, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the PM Mega
Imtegrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM – MITRA) park. The Maharashtra Industrial
Development Corporation (MIDC), acting as the State Implementation Agency, is in charge of
developing the 1000-acre park.
The establishment of seven PM-MITRA parks for the textile industry was approved by the central
government. At the National “PM Vishwakarma” Program, which commemorates a year of
advancement under PM Vishwakarma, PM Modi was present.

The Maharashtra government’s “Acharya Chankya Skill Development Centre” project was introduced by him during the function.
Reputable colleges throughout the state will host skill development training centers where young
people between the ages of 15 and 45 can receive instruction to help them become independent
and open up a variety of career options. Every year, the state will provide free skill development
training to about 1,50,000 youth.

In addition, PM Modi introduced the “Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme.”
Under the programme, Maharashtra-based women-led firms will receive early-stage funding.
There will be financial support available up to Rs 25 lakh.
The government claimed that PM Modi will perform the “bhoomi pujan” of the PM Mitra Park,
which is occurring in Amravati at an unexpected time. The spectacular PM textile park, which will
occupy 1,020 acres of land, is one of the many ongoing projects he would install in the two
capital cities simultaneously, according to the Amravati district information officer.
The beneficiaries received loans and certificates from the PM.

He granted credit to eighteen beneficiaries in eighteen trades, signifying the genuine help extended to artisans under this
system. He also issued a commemorative stamp in honor of their ancestry and as a long-term gift
to the association to commemorate each person’s era of advancement under PM Vishwakarma.

What do we need to know about PM Vishwakarma Yojana?

The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises launched PM Vishwakarma, a Central
Sector Scheme, to offer comprehensive and end-to-end support to artisans and
craftspeople. This support includes access to collateral-free credit, skill training, modern
tools, incentives for digital transactions, and assistance with market linkage.

Speaking occasionally, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde expressed faith in Prime
Minister Narendra Modi’s ability to lead India to become the most powerful nation in the world.
“The aspiration of 140 crore people to transform the nation into a superpower would come true
under Modi ji’s direction. We have no doubt that the Indian government would work to elevate
its standing among the world’s most powerful nations in the years to come. We agree with Modi
sahab’s assertion that the 21st century is India’s century as Narendra Modi is the nation’s
captain,” CM Shinde remarked.
The Prime Minister spoke with recipients of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana during his last visit to
this exhibition, which was held in conjunction with the National “PM Vishwakarma” Program.
Present at the event were Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development
and Entrepreneurship and Mos Education Jayant Chaudhary, together with Maharashtra Chief
Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar.
The loans and certificates that the recipients of PM Vishwakarma received. representing the
material assistance provided to artists through the program. The 18 recipients of the distributed
credit were honored for their lasting contributions to society and their legacy.
