US Elections 2024 : Donald Trump agrees to participate in a Fox News debate with Kamala Harris. He posted it on his Truth social platform.

The former president and Republican nominee for president, Donald J. Trump, announced on his Truth Social platform that he agreed to debate his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, his Democratic opponent, on Fox News on September 4. Although the precise location has not yet been determined, the discussion is scheduled to take place in Pennsylvania.

 He stated “ I’ve agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer participate. I’m in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest. The FoxNews Debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at a site in an area to be determined. The Moderators of the debate will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, the rules will be similar to the regulations of my debate with sleepy Joe, who has been treated horribly by his party – but with a full arena audience.

At first, Fox News had invited both Trump and Harris to take part in a debate in Pennsylvania on September 17th. Last month, Harris challenged Trump to a face- to- face debate and indicted him of reneging on a previous agreement to debate on ABC News on September 10th.

She said, “ Well Donald, I do hope you will reconsider meeting me on the debate stage because as the saying goes if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face, ”.

Trump said that he looked forward to meeting and debating Kamla Harris on September 4th.

In his statement, Trump referred to Biden as” sleepy” and also mentioned that Biden has been treated horribly by his party.

He also shared his thoughts on the Democratic Party’s decision to replace Biden with Harris, stating “ As everyone knows, the Democrats have Unconstitutionally taken a Candidate, who was acknowledged to be defeated, and unceremoniously replaced him with a new Candidate.
