In front of his mother, the 17-year-old was questioned on Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm for more than an hour.

“Our authorities questioned the juvenile about his whereabouts before the crash, his presence at the Blak and Cosie bars, his experience of operating the Porsche, the specifics of the accident, evidence tampering, blood sample collection, and medical examinations, the child had just one response for each query, stating that he was intoxicated and had no recall of anything”, according to a crime branch officer. Following an initial inquiry, it was found that the young guy and his friends had consumed alcohol at both bars, resulting in a ₹48,000 tab.

  • Mother of the teen blames doctors: Shivani Agarwal, the teen’s mother, was detained earlier on May 1. She is accused of exchanging her blood sample to demonstrate that her child wasn’t intoxicated that day. “We have the woman’s (49) statement on file. She informed us that she was instructed by the hospital’s doctors to provide her blood sample rather than her son’s.” Pune commissioner of police (CP) Amitesh Kumar was mentioned in a Times of India article as stating, “She pretended not to understand why the doctors had told her so.”
  • Syringe missing: The prosecution stated in its filing that the juvenile’s initial blood sample and the syringe used to draw it are crucial components of the inquiry and are now missing. It was previously disclosed that the minor’s blood sample was thrown in a trash can by Sassoon General Hospital’s (SGH) casualty medical officer (CMO), Dr. Srihari Halnor. But as the inquiry progressed, it became evident that the unnamed individual had received the syringe and blood sample.
  • FIR’s filed: In this regard, the police have opened three different cases. Two cases are involved: one relates to the accident and involves the FIR, and the other involves the bar that is accused of serving alcohol to the minor. The boy’s father has been charged by the police for letting him drive the vehicle without a license. In a third case, the family’s driver was falsely arrested and made to take blame for the crash.
  • Parents in remand: The boy’s parents were placed in police custody till June 5 by the Pune court on Sunday in connection with an evidence destruction case. The two are being investigated for their possible involvement in altering the minor’s blood sample after the vehicle accident that killed two IT workers on May 19 in Pune, Maharashtra. “They had both been to the hospital and had participated in the altering of the blood sample belonging to the juvenile accused. A blood sample was obtained to determine the minor’s blood alcohol concentration”, according to the police, as reported by ANI. The accused’s blood sample was altered with the mother’s blood, the police informed the court, citing evidence they possessed.
  • Many teams assembled to investigate the accident: According to an official, police have assembled more than a dozen teams with a combined strength of one hundred individuals to investigate different facets of the extensive inquiry into the Porsche crash case that may have included a child driver.
  • Ajit Pawar defends the MLA: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA from Vadgaon Sheri, who is suspected of swaying the investigation into the Pune Porsche crash case in favor of the accused juvenile, is prepared for questioning, according to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Pawar defended Tingre by claiming that the accusations leveled against him are unfounded. “Did Sunil Tingre make an effort to bury the issue? “The accusations made against him are unfounded,” Ajit Pawar declared.
