At dawn, Kim received Putin at Pyongyang airport, exchanging greetings, shaking hands, and conversing next to the Russian president’s aircraft.
On Wednesday’s first day of Putin’s visit to Pyongyang, North Korean media said that the Russian President and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un decided to further their countries’ relations, which had become a strategic fortress.
Putin’s First Visit
On his first trip to the nuclear-armed state in 24 years, Putin pledged to strengthen security and trade relations while also supporting it in its confrontation with the US.
According to state news agency KCNA, the summit between the two leaders shows the “invincibility and durability” of the solidarity and unity between North Korea and Russia.

According to KCNA, relations between North Korea and Russia have grown to be a potent strategic barrier protecting global justice, security, and peace, as well as a catalyst for hastening the creation of a new multipolar world.
Russia has received armaments from North Korea, according to officials in Seoul and Washington, to aid it in the conflict in Ukraine.
While denying the delivery of weapons, Moscow and Pyongyang have promised to strengthen military cooperation, maybe through joint exercises.
