Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasised on the strong political relations between Russia and India, the two major economies of the world. He acknowledged India’s remarkable development achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, pressing the participating interests of both nations in advancing their cooperation.

In a recent video shared by the Russian news platform RT news, President Vladimir Putin can be seen speaking about the Russian and Indian decade old conventions of friendship and cooperation. And praising the progress of India under PM Modi’s leadership.

Acknowledging India’s progress under PM Modi

Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised Indian Prime Minister Modi as a “very wise man” and confided India’s significant progress under his leadership. He also expressed sanguinity about further collaboration between Russia and India in areas related to fiscal security and combating cyber crime.

Emphasis on Long-standing Friendship and Cooperation

During an event, President Vladimir Putin emphasised the strong political relations between Russia and India. He conceded India’s remarkable development achievements under PM Modi’s guidance, pressing the participated interests of both nations in advancing their cooperation at Moscow.

New Delhi declaration – A Significant Milestone

These reflections coincide with the relinquishment of the New Delhi Declaration at the recent G20 Summit in India. The protestation called for peace in the ongoing Ukraine conflict without attributing blame to Russia, motioning a notable departure from the former Bali Declaration. New Delhi Declaration and praised India’s active part in uniting G20 countries from the Global South, the nations of the world which are regarded as having a relatively low level of economic and industrial development.

‘Make in India’ – A positive step forward

Earlier too President Putin praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi fo the ‘Make in India’ policy at the 8th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Vladimir Putin lauded India’s focus on domestically produced vehicles and expressed his belief that PM Narendra Modi’s idea of ‘Make in India’ was a positive step in the right direction.
