Quad Investor Network (QUIN) Promotes Co-investment in Critical Technologies

The Quad Investor Network (QUIN), launched to foster co-investment in critical and arising technologies across the quadrangle countries, was held in the US, said a press statement from the White House.

High-Level Meeting on Cross-Border Investment

In the meeting held on October 16, the Director of the National Economic Council Lael Brainard, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and other elderly administration officers addressed the group of over 40 business directors from quadrangle countries and bandied strategies to help make private capital available for increased, high-standard,cross-border investment between Australia, India, Japan, and the United States.

According to the sanctioned statement, the event also included elderly representatives from the Delegacies of Australia, India, and Japan and the public and private sector leaders who bandied investment openings in critical resources and rising technologies to promote lesser substance and security in the Indo – Pacific Region.

QUIN’s Role in Investments & Techonlogies

QUIN was launched in May of this year at the Quad Leaders’ Summit in Hiroshima and serves as a network of investors and directors across quadrangle countries that seeks to foster co-investment in critical and arising technologies, as per the White House.

Quadrilateral Cyber Challenge for Cybersecurity 

Previously, the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue or quadrangle comprising India, United States, Japan and Australia on Wednesday launched a public crusade’ quadrangle Cyber Challenge’ to ameliorate cyber security across their nations.

The quadrangle has invited Internet addicts across the Indo-Pacific and beyond to come part of the challenge and practice “safe and responsible cyber habits,” the National Security Council Secretariat said in the press release.

The ‘Quadrangle Cyber Challenge’ shows the non-stop efforts of Quad nations to bolster cybersecurity mindfulness and action and to foster a more secure and flexible cyber ecosystem to profit from husbandry and addicts.

In a sanctioned release, the National Security Council Secretariat said, “Internet-addicts are being invited across the Indo – Pacific and beyond to join the Challenge and pledge to exercise safe and responsible cyber habits.”

Cyber Challenge Promotes Safe Practices

The release further added, “The Challenge reflects the continuing quadrangle efforts to strengthen individualities’ and communities’ cyber security mindfulness and action, as well as to foster a more secure and flexible cyber ecosystem to profit husbandry and addicts far and wide.”

The National Security Council Secretariat noted,  “Internet-addicts worldwide are targets of cybercrime and other vicious cyber pitfalls that can bring trillions of bones each time and yield sensitive, particular data.”(ANI)
