Final Week : The Rallies Festival Continues

On Wednesday, PM Modi to hold rallies in Odisha and West Bengal , Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address the election rallies in Ludhiana and Patiala in Punjab whereas AAP leader Kejriwal is holding a roadshow in Chandigarh in support of the Congress candidate Manish Tewari .

On Wednesday, the day before the seventh and last round of the Lok Sabha elections that will take place in June, the campaign got underway. Before heading to Odisha for three public meetings, PM Modi will be holding a roadshow in Mathurapur in West Bengal on Wednesday Morning.

 Ajoy Kumar, The All India Congress Committee in-charge for Odisha informed the that the president of the Indian National Congress and Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha , Mallikarjun Kharge will be addressing the rallies in Odisha on Wednesday. 

Whereas Odisha will be conducting polls for 21 Lok Sabha Seats and 147 assembly segments across four phases . Voting in Odisha will be held in the final phase on June 1st , 2024.

 Bharatiya Janata Party :

 Amit Shah in Uttar Pradesh and JP Nadda in Jharkhand 

On Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will carry on his campaigning in Uttar Pradesh. Four rallies in the state would be addressed by him: those for the Lok Sabha constituencies of Robertsganj, Maharajganj, Deoria, and Ballia. Then, he’s going to have a roadshow in Ghazipur.

The BJP fielded Neeraj Shekhar, son of former PM Chandra Shekhar, from Ballia, while Shashank Mani Tripathi and current MP Pankaj Chaudhary were nominated from Deoria and Maharajganj, respectively.

J P Nadda, the national president of the BJP, will be in Jharkhand and speak at two rallies in Godda and Dumka. With the BJP fielding former chief minister Hemant Soren’s sister-in-law Sita, who recently left the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and the JMM fielding seven-time MLA Nalin Soren, the election in Dumka is shaping up to be a Soren versus Soren contest.

Pradeep Yadav of the Congress is running against Nishikant Dubey, the current MP for the BJP in Godda. After that, Nadda is expected to travel to West Bengal and conduct a roadshow in South Kolkata.

Aam Aadmi Party : 

Arvind Kejriwal along with Congress’s nominee Manish Tewari in Chandigarh 

In favor of Congress nominee Manish Tewari, Chandigarh will host a roadshow on Wednesday, led by Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and the leader of the AAP. Together, the AAP and the Congress are running for the Lok Sabha in Chandigarh as part of the Opposition INDIA bloc, just as they are in Delhi and Haryana. In Punjab, however, the two allies are fighting each other. Manish Tewari will face Sanjay Tandon of the BJP in the Chandigarh seat.

Indian National Congress:

Priyanka Gandhi in Himachal whereas Rahul Gandhi in Punjab 

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the AICC, is scheduled to campaign in Himachal Pradesh. She will speak at a rally in Mandi in support of party candidate Vikramaditya Singh. Bollywood movie star Kangana Ranaut has been nominated by the BJP for the position. After that, Priyanka will travel to Kullu, which is included in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat, where she will speak at a rally.

Whereas , Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, will speak at the Punjabi electoral rallies in Ludhiana and Patiala. The BJP’s Ravneet Singh Bittu, the sitting MP who left the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, and AAP MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi will face off against State Congress Chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, who is the party’s candidate from Ludhiana. Dharamvira Gandhi of the Congress, who left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is competing in Patiala against Preenet Kaur, the current MP who left the Congress to join the BJP, and Balbir Singh of the AAP. Preneet is the spouse of Captain Amarinder Singh, a BJP member and former chief minister and stalwart of the Congress.
