The filming of Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated Mythological film has already begun. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film’s budget is estimated to be around ₹835 crore. Sumit Kadel, a film trade analyst, has also discussed the film’s release date.
Regarding the epic Ramayana:
The Valmiki Ramayana, which is commonly credited to Valmiki, is a Sanskrit epic that dates back to ancient India and is classified as a smriti text. Together with the Mahabharata, it is one of the two great Hindu epics known as the Itihasas.
The epic tells the story of Rama, an Ayodhya prince who lived in the Kosala kingdom. The epic recounts Rama’s fourteen-year exile in the forest, which his father King Dasharatha ordered at the request of his stepmother Kaikeyi. It also describes his travels through Indian forests with his brother Lakshmana and wife Sita, the war that ensued after Sita was abducted by Ravana, the king of Lanka, and Rama’s eventual return to Ayodhya where he and Sita were crowned kings amid joy and celebration.
About the Film:
The filming of two parts of the film starring is scheduled to conclude in December 2025. The production team intends to release the films on big screens within a year.Nitesh Tiwari and the group are reportedly filming Ramayana as a two-part epic .The filmmakers have chosen to tell the story in two parts due to the film’s scope and impact.
The film will be shot concurrently with the first part, although most in the industry wait for the first part’s results before taking the second one on floors.The source went on to say that a significant portion of the Part Two will be filmed even before Ramayana Part One is released.
For the two movies, the production team has planned a 350-day shoot that will feature both group shots and solo scenes featuring the extended star cast. The two movies are slated for release within a single year.

Starring in the Mythological film are Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram.fans have recently posted a few images of Ranbir with his archery instructor on social media, implying that the actor is taking archery lessons. He posted on X, formerly Twitter, saying that the anticipated release date for Ramayana (Part 1) is October, 2027.Actor Ajinkya Deo recently teamed up with Ramayana and posted a selfie alongside Ranbir. Ajinkya revealed that he would be giving a fantastic performance in the trilogy in an Instagram post. Ajinkya is said to play the role of the sage Vishwamitra, who acted as Lord Ram’s mentor.
