Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the awards for the First-ever National Creators Awards at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi. There were many interesting categories. Among the many people who won the awards were Ranveer Allahbadia and Aman Gupta.
Boat co-founder and Ranveer Allahbadia
Aman Gupta, is the co-founder of Boat, a homegrown wearable and audi brand. He is currently seen in Shark Tank India, where he invests in various businesses. HisBrand Boat is the World’s 2nd Largest Audio brand. Ranveer Allahbadia, is the Founder of BeerBiceps, co-founder of Monk Entertainment & Level and has also come under the category of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list 2022. He interviews many celebrities, influencers, actors etc on his podcast and youtube channel, BeerBiceps.
Aman Gupta awarded with Celebrity Creator of the Year
Boat co-founder Aman Gupta was awarded with Celebrity Creator of the Year at the National Creators Award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Prime Minister congratulated him for his success. Aman Gupta mentions that the ‘Made in India’ initiative motivated and helped him to manufacture his products in India. He aims that the International Market should embrace Indian Products. Aman Gupta thanked the audience for supporting him and voting for him.Aman Gupta is married to his wife, Priya Dagar and has a beautiful daughter named Miraya.
Ranveer Allahbadia presented with Disruptor of the Year
Founder of BeerBiceps, Ranveer Allahbadia was felicitated with the Disruptor of the Year award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.While presenting the award PM Modi and Ranveer can be seen engaging in a fun Banter. PM Modi asked Ranveer Allahbadia to share fitness tips with the audience to which Ranveer replied that people should engage in Yoga and Meditation. On this PM Modi responds ‘Then People will say he is saying what Modiji says’.Further PM Modi talks about the importance of Sleep in one’s life. He also adds that his sleeping schedule is not proper. He suggested Ranveer to make a segment on sleep. To which the latter replied that he wants to do a “Podcast with PM Modi”.
Why is National Creators Award beginning from this year onwards?
This Award is an effort made to give recognition to people’s talent. This Award has many domains like storytelling, Environmental sustainability, education, gaming etc. This Award is also an initiative to appreciate Creative Minds, acknowledge and encourage them.
How were the winners selected?
Across 20 Categories over 1 lakh 50 thousand nominations were received and 1 million people voted. From all these nominations 23 Winners were selected based on their vote count.
