FC Barcelona had seemed to be in deep water, when they were consistently losing matches, however bringing Hansi Flick to the team has worked his own charm. Barcelona defeated Real Valladolid in Camp Nou yesterday, it was a hard hitting game for Catalunya. Raphinha scored a hat trick, along with Robert Lewandowski, Dani Olmo, Jules Konde and Ferran Torres.

This is Barcelona’s 4th consecutive win in La Liga this season, remaining table toppers undefeated, but this isn’t the end of it, as the team has to maintain its pace and performance throughout the season, as compared to their arch rival Real Madrid who are still struggling to chase the pace, despite signing Mbappe in their team, he hasn’t scored any goal yet, and they are hoping to equalize with Barcelona on the La Liga table.

An effective start to the season, despite the financial constraints on the club, Barcelona has managed to keep its solid play and power packed performances and players, some of them are injured, but the choice of keeping Dani Olmo was a smart move.

The game against Valladolid seemed in favor of Barcelona, who dominated the match. Raphinha scored the first goal of the match, flicking the ball past the Valladolid goalkeeper, straight to the net, from the corner.

Few minutes later, Robert Lewandowski, the revered Barcelona striker with Yamal’s assist, hit the net. Before the half time, Jules Konde, the French defender striked a goal in the top corner, despite getting off balance.

It was 3-0 already and the Olympic stadium erupted in roars and cheers, as this was a feat for Barcelona, not before Raphinha scored another goal with another pass by Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal. He completed his hat trick, rolling off the ball from the defenders in the net in the 72nd minute, four goals already a feat for Barcelona.

Dani Olmo, the 26 year old midfielder who scored his debut goal against Rayo Vallecano has proved to be an asset for Barca, he scored the sixth goal for the team. And with Ferran Torres’s final goal, the match came to a halt. Barcelona had achieved this grand score earlier in 2016 against Deportivo La Coruna, where they defeated their opponent by 8-0.

There were certainly some missed goals by the Barca players, but this glorious start for Barcelona in this season has given a blistering hope for the fans, as well.

What does Hansi Flick have to say about this!?

This magnificent victory was credited to Hansi Flick, the club’s manager who received standing ovation after the match ended, but he let the players get praise for their performances and win. Hansi Flick on this enormous victory said that it was all the player’s game, every time they attacked, they knew they had to score a goal and the consistent hunger for goal was what drove the players throughout the match. He was quite impressed with the performances. The players have worked hard and they deserved this win, more than anyone.

After this triumph, pressure would dawn over Flick and his team on how they would navigate the upcoming matches, as excitement has already buzzed the Barca fans on the team’s consecutive wins.
