The popular cinematographer, KK Senthil Kumar’s beloved wife Ruhee passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Ruhee died due to multiple organ failure. She was admitted to KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad for numerous health issues. Her last rites were performed on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Mahaprasthanam, in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
KK Senthil Kumar has been taken aback by the sudden death of his beloved wife. He had taken a break from work to take care of his wife and he stood beside her till the end. Her sudden death left a shock to the fans, and many people are sending condolences and sharing their memories with her on social media.

KK Senthil Kumar is one of the well-known cinematographers in India. He graduated with a degree in cinematography from FTII OR Film and Television Industry of India in Pune. He made his first debut as a cinematographer in a sitcom series ‘Amrutham’ and he made his first film debut in ‘Aithe’ in 2003 where he came into the limelight as a cinematographer for the first time.
He worked in many popular films such as, ‘Arundhati’ and ‘Magadheera’ in 2009, ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ in 2015, ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ in 2017, ‘RRR’ in 2022, and many more such as ‘Eega’, ‘Amadonga’, ‘Chatrapathi’, ‘Sye’ etc. He got many awards such as two Nandi Awards, SIIMA Awards, the 57th; 63rd, and 65th Filmfare Awards South, CineMAA Awards for best cinematographer, etc. His last award was for the Best Cinematography category for ‘RRR’ film in 2022. He is also known for working with SS Rajamouli on various popular projects together.
KK Senthil got married to his wife Ruhee, also known as Ruheenaaz, on June 25, 2009. She was a well-known yoga instructor and head of the Bharat Thakur’s Yoga Class in Hyderabad. The couple have two sons named Ryan Karttikeyan and Dhruvan Karttikeyan. Mrs. Ruhee worked with many celebrities such as Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Ileana D’Cruz, etc.
