The Ukraine-Russian war is still ongoing after almost two and a half years. Ukraine invaded Russia in early August, and now Russia’s pre-planned counterattack has started taking place in Ukraine. Now a 14-year-old little girl lost her life in this war. According to the locals the girl was playing outside in a playground when Russia’s guided bomb was launched in Kharkiv city, a place in the region of northeastern Ukraine. The Russian’s seamless attacks are not ceasing and taking the lives of innocents.

The Brutality and Destruction of War
This is not an exclusive scenario, this is happening throughout the Ukraine. More than six people lost their lives and at least 59 were left severely injured after another blow Russian attack took down a 12-storey residential apartment, not too far from the Russian border.
There were pictures that surfaced throughout the internet showing the destruction as thick black smoke came out from the burning building, the firefighters rushed to the area to carry the residents to safety.
The Missiles from Russia
According to Ukrainian officials, the Moscoew’s army forces have launched more than 400 drones and missiles throughout this past week in Ukraine. The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky seemed to renew his call to all the international allies ushering allowance to hit Russia do counter attacks mostly to prevent these attacks from the country.
The Russian attack was frequently recorded in the second-largest city, Kharkiv. It started in February 2022 when Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This city was 35km (22 miles) away from the Russia-Ukraine border.
The Victims of Russian Attacks
Oleh Sinehubov, the regional head, disseminated in Telegram that at least 59 people were severely injured including nine children. Among them over 20 are in critical condition, and many of them required amputation to cease the damage. And almost nine children are in severe condition after the strikes.
There are other pictures surfacing through the internet showcasing the severity of the situation. The building walls collapsing, many cars outside on fire etc images are everywhere.
“These streets are exclusively parks with large gatherings of civilians. This is a residential building. This is, again, mass terror against our civilian population.” Mr Sinehubov also said that they need to find a conclusion.
The Western Allies
The Western allies of Ukraine are withholding the permission partly for using weapons on the Russian territory. The diplomatic strategy might be ruined and it can further escalate the situation and attacks on Russia.
With an exception for the long-range Storm Shadow missiles, the United Kingdom has given Ukraine permission to allow much of the weaponry that has already been shipped for Ukraine’s force.
Also in mid-year, the US allowed Ukraine to launch missiles in the targeted areas in Russia however this permission is restricted to the Kharkiv region only.
