Salaar surpasses 1st Day collection of Animal; Big win for Salaar

Salaar starring big names Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Hassan has already garnered 175 crores in revenue, exceeding the first-day collection of Animal, Pathan, and Jawan. 

Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire was praised by the actor and former politician, Chiranjeevi for Prabhas’ acting and Prashnath’s direction. This movie also marks the comeback of the Bahubali’s megastar Prabhas on the big screen.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar is an action-thriller starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

According to the movie’s plot, the action takes place in the fictitious, violent city of Khansaar. Prithviraj plays Varadha Raja Mannar, who attempts to claim the city’s dominion with the assistance of a friend. Prabhas plays Prithviraj’s friend in the titular role.

It’s the most violent film of the year!

The action-violent drama starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumar has been released in theatres. The film’s final 20 minutes, which are supposed to feature bloodbath and brutal violence, has been voted the most violent film of the year, exceeding the violence of Animal.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was handed the title a few days ago, but Prashanth Neel’s directed movie has surpassed it to become the country’s most violent picture of 2023, earning a new title.

Netflix bags the OTT rights of Salaar

The OTT and satellite rights of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran have been purchased.

Multinational OTT provider Netflix has secured the digital rights, While TV station Star Maa has secured the satellite showing rights.

The much-anticipated action spectacle, has arrived in theatres, eliciting a wide range of reactions from audiences. 

While the film receives mixed reviews, one feature that has received unequivocal recognition is Prithviraj Sukumaran’s compelling depiction of Varadharaja Mannar.

Salaar Part 1 ceasefire box office Day 1 collection breaks record

Salaar allegedly garnered Rs 95 crore on day one in India and has grossed Rs 175 crore internationally. The blockbuster action picture has become the world’s most grossing film in 2023, both in India and internationally.

Previously, the number of shows for Salaar in multiple-screen cinemas was lower than for Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Following the enormous success of Prabhas’s Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire, theatres have increased the number of screenings of Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire.

The sequel of the movie has been titled ‘Salaar Part 2 – Shouryunga Parvam’

Given, that the title of movie has been named part 1. Fans are excited for the following ventures of Salaar. Part 2 – Shouryunga Parvam’ is the title of the film’s sequel. Prabhas plays Deva, a member of the Shouryanga tribe, in the film, and the sequel will tell the story of how he became Prithviraj’s adversary.

Fans expect Prabhas’ second movie to exceed the previous success of ‘KGF’, Neel’s previous film, which made a worldwide sensation.

It is officially the largest Indian opener of 2023, grossing a massive 178.7 crores on its opening day at the global box office, according to the latest information from the makers. To compare, Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo grossed 148.5 crores on day one, while Salaar has easily surpassed this figure.

After Baahubali 2, this is Prabhas’ second-largest opener.

Prabhas’ star power and Prashanth Neel’s popularity among the crowd both contributed to the film’s incredible success.

It is available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi from December 22 in theatres.
