G. Ram Mohan, Former Regional Director of SEBI Eastern Regional Office
As a former regional director of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) eastern regional office, Rao brings over 25 years of SEBI experience to his new post.
In his role as ED, he would oversee the investigation and internal inspection departments, reaffirming SEBI’s commitment to market integrity.
He has overseen portfolios such as inspections, litigation, recovery, investor awareness, and grievance redressal in various positions over the years. Rao’s term as the Eastern Regional Office’s Regional Director demonstrated his ability to manage critical areas such as inspections, collective investment schemes, litigation, and recovery, among others.
G. Ram Mohan is a certified Fraud Investigation Officer
Rao is a certified fraud examiner under the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. This demonstrates his commitment to conducting investigations in an ethical manner.
. His experience at the Northern Regional Office and the Serious Fraud Investigation Office demonstrates a thorough awareness of regulatory difficulties and a dedication to properly addressing them.
G. Ram Mohan will serve as ED for three years. According to the regulator, he would be in charge of the investigative and internal inspection departments.
