Her collaboration with Selgui, blends Seulgi’s personal artistry with outsider’s gaze adding another layer of depth to the exhibition.
The organizers, ALLCAMERA & FILM expressed their excitement over the project. “We’re investing a lot of effort into organizing an exhibition capturing Seulgi’s unseen daily life and thoughts away from her glamorous stage presence as a member of Red Velvet”, cited a representative of the organizers. “We hope visitors can discover the specialness in everyday life through Seulgi’s warm and honest perspective”, he added further.
The statement underlines the exhibition’s intent rooted in the quieter and more introspective aspects of artist’s life, depicting a contrasting perspective of the vibrant and glamourous persona she exhibits on stage. Through her photographs, the artist appeals to the visitors to see the world through her eye lens, to find beauty in the mundane and to appreciate the specialness often left unnoticed in ordinary moments of life.
