Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki receives a standing ovation
During the Censor Board screening in Dubai, UAE at Voc Cinemas, Dunki received a standing ovation. The film has got a U/A certificate from the Indian censor board- Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) after suitable changes. The producer of the film Mr. Girish Johar, took to his X (formerly Twitter) to reveal the locked runtime of the movie is – 2 hours 41 minutes.
Dunki gets a 5:55 AM release at Gaiety Cinema
With just four days left for the movie to hit the theatre – the film has its first show screened at the iconic Gaiety Cinema at 5:55 am- the earliest show in the theatre’s history. The screening is organized by the SRK universe. This is the biggest fan club of Badshah of Bollywood. Earlier in 2023- the fan club organized 9 a.m. show for Pathaan in January. They followed it up with a 6 am show for Jawaan in July. In its 52 years of history, Gaiety never had a show before 12 pm.
Dunki V/s Salaar
Dunki is getting stiff competition from Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire starring the Bahubali actor- Prabhas. Popular film trade analyst Sumit Kadel took to his X (formerly Twitter) to emphasize that the next three days can set a clear picture as to which film is going to cross the other in the advance bookings. Salaar’s pre-booking started on December 15th and has approximately sold 38,000 tickets for 2856 shows on the opening day. These figures include not just Indian screens but also in the United States of America.
The film will be available in 415 locations with approximately 1,331 shows. It so far collected Rs 1.52 crores. The film is set to release on the 22nd of December, a day after the release of Dunki which is set to hit the theatres on 21st December.

About Dunki
The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. It also features Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar in the supporting roles.
